This is the last week before spring break starts for me. Thank God! I am so sick of school and campus life right now. I’m pushing through though. My playlist will get me through the week for sure! I picked my favorite songs from the list. They’re all sure to keep my energy high until the start of my break.
1. Michael Aristotle- Peach
I wasn’t born in Georgia, but I was raised in Lithonia. So I do claim Atlanta. Yet still, I don’t think I’m the type of Atlanta Peach he’s talking about in this song. I still dig the joint though. It’s something special when you know the artists comes from the same place you grew up in. I see big things coming for this guy in the future.
2. Mikos Da Gawd- Throw Sum Mo (Mikos Remix)
“Throw Sum Mo” is a club banger on it’s own. You got Nicki Minaj and Rae Sremmurd making main stream magic here. This remix gives me a whole new way to vibe to a song that I already enjoyed.
3. Pe$o featuring ZIP K- Pull Up
I found this song sometime last year on my Twitter TL. This is the kind of song you just ride to, you know? It’s not too turnt, but it won’t put you in your feelings either. Does that make sense? Anyways, I like the song! This an older track, but I do believe he has posted some more recent songs on his Soundcloud.
4. LightskinKeisha- F*ck It Up
When I’m in the gym, this song puts me on high! It’s one of those songs man. My fellas might not like this one at all, and people who are musically righteous might have some critics. But, ya’ll can’t tell me this wouldn’t bang in the clubs! LightskinKeisha has a hot one on her hands with this track.
5. Teedra Moss- Be Your Girl (Kaytranada Remix)
This mix is so old, but I literally never get tired of it! The song itself is an R&B gem, but the remix makes it more flirty and it makes the record something you can dance to. This is also another great song to workout to, if you were wondering.
Maybe next week I’ll give out my entire playlist instead of just a few songs. Maybe! Haha
