I’ve got some Tevin Campbell playing in the background, and I was thinking.. If there was a word specifically for the feeling you get when you listen to your favorite 90’s R&B songs (You know, the ones that make you sing along when you know you can’t hit those notes?), then that’s the word I would use to describe Shana Bea. I’ve never met Shana before. I’ve probably never even been in the same state as her, but I have followed her on Tumblr since I made my blog back in 2011. Then I followed her on Instagram, then Twitter, and so on. And while I have never personally met Shana, I just know that if I did I would be able to fully confirm that she is definitely just as fly, and down-to-earth as she appears to be on social media.
Shana Bea is a California raised beauty who has turned all that embodies her likeness into fashion inspired business ventures, creative outlets, and ways to help encourage love in all forms. We all aspire to do what makes us happy and to do what, to us, seems worthwhile. Shana is no different. She has interned with Jeffery Campbell in NYC, started her own popular personal/fashion blogs, started an online thrift boutique, and she has even co-written a self-help book entitled “Love Her Crown” with colleague J. Chavae. With each move Shana has slowly, but surely been attracting people to her growing brand. With her latest venture, the fashionista has turned her love for fashion and simplicity into stylish handmade purses. Love, Beatrice bags are all handcrafted and designed by Shana Bea in the comfort of her cozy “creative space”. The brand, which is inspired by her “nana”, Clarece Beatrice Fletcher, embodies the true essence of naturalistic chic. Each bag is made with vegan leathers and fabrics, and organic zippers. They even have vegetable tanned embossed labels making them 100% eco-friendly. Considering that Shana maintains a pretty healthy lifestyle, it’s no wonder she had sustainability in mind with her creations.
Want to know what makes Love, Beatrice bags even sweeter? Well, its quiet simple; they’re each made with love. Trust me, that’s not a cliché. It’s just the pure truth. Knowing that the designer is super cool ups the ante too.
Check out some of my personal favorites from her collection! You can find these and more on her website: http://www.lovebeatrice.us/
By the way, does anyone want to buy me one?
