I always get excited about new T-Pain. I can’t help it, he gave us so much gold in the first decade of the 2000s that I dare not doubt him or sleep on the opportunity for him to do it again. The only issue with that is that the last few years haven’t given me that album that I needed. There have been single releases and a mixtape but this album that has been looming in our hearts and minds is still in limbo.
As we play the waiting game for yet another one of our favorite artists, we are blessed with new material. Somewhat of an “anti-blow-it-all-at-the-club” song, “Hundred Mo Dollas” takes a more regretful tone. Instead of flaunting all the money spent, Pain is thinking about how much he could’ve kept. Check it out below and don’t hold your breath for Stoicville.
