In reference to a recent single, NPR has deemed Joella Deville’s music a “time capsule to the 90’s” in a segment of Songs We Love.
The New Jersey native has been hard at work pumping her art into the music world performing at The House of Blues in Hollywood, The Forum in Inglewood California, and opening for The Internet. With some of her music circulating on VH1 and Lifetime television shows, it’s only a matter of time before her latest single “Ease the Pain” catches some attention too.
Deville’s lyrics details the emotions and self-evaluation it takes to come face to face with our own demons, or better yet our fears. The honesty of the piece is refreshing. The plus to all of this is her voice of course. Take a listen for yourself since you’re here.
